MALAYSIA recorded 2,796 new Covid-19 infections in the past 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of cases to 4,549,847, the Health Ministry reported.

Its CovidNow website showed that Selangor recorded the highest number of infections with 930 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (843) and Penang (203).
